Production Manager
About the company and the role
At Lendurai, we enable unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to operate independently of global navigation satellite systems and radio control, using computer vision and machine learning. We partner with multiple UAV manufacturers to deliver cost-effective capabilities to public sector and defense customers. Our core team has substantial experience in aerospace engineering and developing computer vision applications across Europe, including at companies like Bolt (EE), Open Cosmos (UK), and Starship Technologies (EE).
As Production Manager you will lead the scaling of our drone assembly line, manage day-to-day shop floor operations, and implement rigorous Quality Management Systems. You will be directly responsible for ensuring that every aircraft manufactured meets the highest standards of reliability, precision, and performance required.
This role bridges the gap between R&D engineering and physical manufacturing, requiring a blend of deep technical hardware expertise, strict attention to detail, and structured leadership.
What you will be doing
Oversee and scale drone assembly from low-volume prototyping to high-throughput manufacturing, optimising workstation layouts and balancing lines to eliminate bottlenecks.
Manage the precise integration of electromechanical components, establishing strict standards for critical joints, fastener torque verification, and wire harness routing.
Implement standardised end-of-line testing protocols for flight-critical systems in controlled environments.
Deploy manufacturing Quality Control frameworks adapted for fast-paced hardware environments.
Enforce industrial safety standards on the floor.
Ensure all assembly and testing processes strictly comply with Lendurai’s internal safety thresholds and national regulatory frameworks.
Lead, train, and mentor assembly technicians.
Partner with purchasing to manage hardware vendors.
